What We Do.
E-Cell organises a variety of events throughout the year to promote entrepreneurial activities in and around the campus. Our annual E-Summit witnesses huge participation from all over India. Events like TEDx and StartUp Master Class take the learning to a whole new level. E-Cell also conducts various lectures and workshops focussed at budding entrepreneurs. StartUp Internship Programme helps students land internships in start-ups and get to know their working in greater depth.
E-Summit
An annual flagship event to foster entrepreneurial initiatives and activities, nurturing India's future technopreneurs through sharing of experiences, ideas and opportunities across the campus and beyond.
TEDx
An independent initiative under TED's umbrella — an annual talk series from eminent speakers across Technology, Entertainment and Design, spreading ideas that matter at NIT Jamshedpur.
UpStart
Beyond conventional pitching — startups go through multiple screening rounds, brainstorming sessions, face-to-face mentoring and business plan honing with a strong panel of expert mentors.
StartUp Master Class
A unique "for Entrepreneurs, from Entrepreneurs" platform bringing together startups, mentors and investors to build interactions and strengthen the entrepreneurial community network.
Startup Internship Program
Helping students land internships at startups. 151 startups registered in one season with a 73% boom in total internships offered — from Dunzo and Pharmeasy to EarlySalary.
Campus Hangouts
Special interactive sessions for campus students — informal discussions between campus junta and entrepreneurship oracles, with brainstorming and networking happening throughout the year.
